How far is the property from shops and pubs?
Honeysuckle Cottage is about 5 minute drive from Stow on The Wold where you will find an extensive range of shops, Take Away's, Pubs and a selection of fine dining Restaurants. You can also walk to the local gastro Pub ‘The Fox’ which is just a minute’s walk away.
Is there a Supermarket nearby?
There is a Tesco at Stow on The Wold a 5 minute drive and a Budgens at Moreton in the Marsh a 15 minute drive.
Are there walks near to the Cottage
Honeysuckle Cottage is at the top of Church Lane which leads to many public footpaths with access to fields and wooded areas. From the property you can walk to the historical Church of St Nicholas which is just a five minute’s walk and is fascinating Church to visit.
Is the location quiet and peaceful?
Honeysuckle Cottage is located at the top end of Oddington on a small road which leads down to the old Church. Traffic is very light and therefore the cottage offers a peaceful retreat.
Is there parking at the property and for how many cars?
There is no off road parking at Honeysuckle Cottage and there is parking for up to 2 cars on the small lay-by which is just 100 ft from the property.
Is there Broadband access at the property?
Yes there is Wi-Fi internet access at the property
Is there a childs chair and travel cot?
Yes we provide both a travel child’s cot and chair
Do you accept dogs and for how many can i bring?
Yes the property accepts dogs and a maximum of 2 at a £10 charge each.
Do you accept Cats?
There is stricktly a NO CAT policy due to the owners allergies.
Is the garden enclosed and how big is it?
Honeysuckle Cottage has a patio garden area at the front of the property which is paved and has an outdoor table and chairs for 6 and a BBQ. The area backs on to the neighbour’s garden and has no dividing wall and there is no gate on the patio area, however it does only lead onto to the country lane.
How many toilets are there in the house?
Upstairs there is a toilet in the family bathroom and also in the en-suite which is off the master bedroom.
Do you offer short breaks
Yes we offer short breaks of 3 and 4 day breaks throughout the whole of the year. However we do not offer 1 and 2 nights stays due to the turn round procedure.
Are start days flexible
Check in days are on a Friday and Saturday for weekly stays and Friday and Mondays for short breaks. Please email to check first as our booking system only will allow certain day check-ins.
When do I recieve information regarding directions, key collection for the property once I have booked?
You will receive all the information about the property with directions and key collection once we have received the full payment of your booking and 10 days’ prior to your arrival
Are there any additional costs?
Heat/Light, basket of logs, bed linen, towels are all included in the price. Optional holiday insurance is extra and if you wish to pay by PayPal there is a 2.5% charge.
