How to find Hog Cottage

When reaching Wirksworth Village take the B5023 towards Derby and past the Wheatsheaf Pub on the left, then take the second left into Water Lane following the signpost to the Leisure Centre. Continue up Water Lane, the The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway line and up the hill.

On reaching the Church on the right continue up the steep hill and take the second left up Gorsey Bank, which is the turning just after Providence Mill (there is no sign post for Gorsey Bank. You will reach a very sharp right turn at the top, which may take two turns carry on a little further up and you will find Hog Cottage on the left.
