Luxury holiday cottages in England & Wales

Hillcrest

Beaumaris , Anglesey

Sleeps: 4

Bedrooms: 2

Hillcrest a Anglesey Luxury Holiday Cottage which is located in the lovely Anglesey Coastal Town of Beaumaris which is short distance from the Britannia Bridge. The sudden view as you enter the town by the wooded, winding road from Menai Bridge, with its tantalizing glimpses of Snowdon and the spectacular Menai Straits, never ceases to delight, in any weather.

Then you see the delightful candy coloured sea front houses, the little church, the Medieval castle and the Victorian pier and as you enter the town, the narrow backstreets are reminiscent of some little known Mediterranean coastal town. Beaurmaris is an enchanting seaside town and it usually only takes one visit to fall in love with this charming and delightful part of Anglesey which has lost none of its charm.

Hillcrest is a delightful Victorian terraced townhouse which sleeps 2-4 just off the main side street and only five minutes walk from the sea, the shops and several good restaurants including the Award winning five star Olde Bulls head on the main street.

This sympathetically renovated terraced house which has been carefully furnished in traditional style, but retains its character and many original features including the exposed wooden floorboards and rustic brick chimney breast which houses a stunning multi fuel burner.

Its the perfect place to recharge your batteries as its offerers many personal touches of the owner. You enter the house into a spacious living room, with the Inglenook feature fireplace and on cooler nights makes a romantic hideaway to curl up in front of the fire and forget about the world outside. The lounge area offers a stylish 3-seater and a 2-seater suite which provide a relaxing seating area and at the other end of the living rooms is an elegant dining area which has an antique dining table which seats 6 and makes a stunning area to entertain friends and family.

The living area leads to a well equipped kitchen, including fridge, oven range (with 4 ring hob), dishwasher, and microwave, and a porch area with small breakfast table.

On the first floor there is a light and spacious double bedroom and twin bedroom, and a large family bathroom with a bath and a luxurious walk-in shower.

The house has a quaint secluded courtyard garden, with garden furniture for those sunny Beaumaris afternoons and for relaxing with a glass of local Ty Croes wine as the sun sets. A small laundry room, with washing machine and mini freezer is located in one corner. The yard provides rear pedestrian access to Steeple Lane.

This part of Angelsey has much to offer those wanting a romantic break at any time of the year, as well as walkers and nature lovers, where you can explore mountain paths, come down into woods full of wild flowers in Spring and Summer and on to the sea, in a mater of a few miles.

We can offer you a real log fire, a full welcome pack which includes chocolates, wine and fruit and a pretty courtyard garden with fairy lights.

Dogs welcome Cottage: All four legged friends will receive their own doggy welcome pack.
