Hog Cottage

Holidaying in the UK is becoming much more popular in recent years as more people choose to explore the best of Britain instead of venturing abroad. Why go abroad when you have so much to see and do on your doorstep

At Blue Lagoon Cottages, we know that people want their holidays to be an experience – from their accommodation to the things that they do whilst on holiday. Our dog friendly cottages are equipped to a high standard, meaning that you have everything you could possibly need when staying away from home. This means you can spend more time focusing on what you get up to on holiday rather than worrying about where you lay your head.

With a gorgeous luxury holiday cottage located in the Cotswolds, we are the perfect choice for your UK holiday this year. We are in a wonderful location, both family friendly and dog friendly and know the best things to do in the Cotswolds this springtime.

Go Walking

Many people visit the Cotswolds on walking holidays, and it isn’t hard to see why. One particular walk that seems to be a favourite of many of our guests is this AA walk which enables ramblers to take in the history of the area and the beauty of the countryside.

There are a number of wonderful walks that our guests can enjoy when staying at our property.

If a small drive does not phase you, spring is the perfect time to check out Sudeley Castle & Gardens. With ten award winning gardens, a beautiful walking trail and sometimes even fun trails for younger visitors, the castle and its surroundings are really something to behold and are perfect for families.

Get on Your Bike

If cycling is one of your interests, then you will be pleased to know that the Cotswolds is perfect for cyclists with plenty of country lanes to explore. There are a number of fantastic routes to take and it is even possible to take a self-guided cycling tour of the area. Cycling proves extremely popular with both residents and visitors alike during the springtime as you can explore the glorious countryside whilst also taking in the beauty of it..

Enjoy A Bite to Eat

We are incredibly lucky to have a number of wonderful eateries around the area with two excellent country pubs located in the same village as Odd Cottage. There is also a wonderful farm shop nearby, often frequented by celebrities as well as dog friendly cafes in the nearby spa town of Cheltenham.
